Job Description

Take ownership of backend systems that handle large-scale data and high-throughput processing. As a Full Stack Developer, you will design, build, and optimize cloud-native services in a distributed architecture, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security in production environments. This role is intended for engineers who can independently deliver production-grade solutions, make sound technical decisions, and operate effectively within complex systems. You will collaborate with global teams while contributing to long-term platform stability and engineering standards.

The Qualifications We Seek

• 5+ years of commercial experience in microservices-based backend engineering
• Strong hands-on development experience using Ruby, Ruby on Rails, or Sinatra in production environments
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong cloud experience across both AWS and GCP
• Proven expertise in building and maintaining RESTful APIs and distributed systems
• Experience working with PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch in production
• Proven ability to own services end-to-end in a distributed architecture
• Solid testing experience (unit, integration, and functional testing)
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
• Stable career track with consistent contributions in previous roles
• Exposure to monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Datadog)
• Experience with API/integration platforms such as MuleSoft

Your Daily Tasks

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Ruby and microservices architecture
• Develop and optimize REST APIs for performance, scalability, and security
• Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes-based environments
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate build and deployment processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system improvements and feature delivery
• Apply testing strategies across unit, integration, and functional levels
• Monitor system health using observability tools and resolve performance issues proactively
• Ensure adherence to security standards and engineering best practices
• Break down technical requirements into deliverable tasks within sprint cycles
• Provide accurate estimates and communicate risks or blockers early
• Contribute to architectural discussions and continuous platform improvements
• Mentor team members and support knowledge sharing across engineering teams
